May I recommend that you never get into sales... Why? Because you're only as good as your last sale. Because they will replace you with someone younger and better looking. Because you don't want to be out on the streets selling your wares at age 65 (or 55.) Because you have to be 'up' and 'chipper' all day long. Because if you don't have enthusiasm, they won't buy what you're selling. Because most bosses will chew you up and spit you out and move on the next salesperson. Because it's high pressure 24/7. Because you will most likely be on some sort of commission and feel guilty to take vacation. Because it starts out as the lure of the American Dream and turns into a nightmare...
