I just saw the saddest story on News 8 in Austin. It was an African American guy, Jarod Smith, who has been featured every year for the past several years in their adoption coalition. He is the nicest looking kid who is now 19 and still wants to be adopted. Last year he aged out of foster care after having been through 35 foster homes and became homeless. He now lives in community housing and works at Wendy's. He doesn't have his drivers license, but wants one, it all costs too much money. He has no one to love him. He's been in foster homes since he was 10... He has dreamed of being adopted for nine years, and still wants a family. Still wants someone to love and to love him.
If there was any way I could do it, I would... I really would. I cannot give this young man what he needs, but PRAY that he can find it... SOON! It's heart breaking....
