"Make love, not war."

My personal opinion? The success of the TV show, "Mad Men," is a subconscious desire to return to simpler times. For those of us that remember the 60's and those of us who wish we had been there. I think feminism failed and women want to return to staying home if they want to, if it's even possible. I think that we miss women looking feminine and sexy instead of like unisex droids. We miss men being masculine, and being able to tell a woman that she looks pretty without being blamed that he's sexist. Many schools and workplaces won't even let a man tell a joke without being charged with sexual harrassment.
When it comes down to brass tacks, women and men are wired differently. Boys play with trucks and army guys and girls play with dolls - what a surprise! We need to celebrate our differences, and get back to how we were designed.
Maybe the pendulum is swinging back.
As was said in the 60's, I can dig it!
