It's hot here in Texas. Real hot. And when we get in the 'Dog Days of Summer,' no one wants to do anything but go inside and talk about how hot it is. It's how I suppose it is in Colorado in January, as we get 'cabin fever,' only for the opposite reason. I'm in sales, so I have to go out in the morning to talk to people because by the afternoon, all of my client's eyes glaze over, and they are cranky and just say no to everything. The grass is crunchy and no amount of watering seems to quench the thirst. In August our only hope for a little cooler weather is a hurricane or tropical storm in the Gulf, but this year we've only had two, and they hit the bottom tip of Texas early summer. So much for the weather experts - they said it would be an active hurricane season this year in the Gulf.
I want THAT job, where you can be totally wrong most of the time and not get fired...
