"For the birds..."

What's with all the birds dying in different locations? Is this an omen in the sky?? I've noticed they are mostly black birds. And they are not sick, they have internal damage. One report said that fireworks did this but it's not New Year's eve any more... And another said it was the really cold weather. And now 40,000 crabs have died in England. And today in Sweden, there were more dead black birds. I think it must mean something...

I just don't know what.
