Tonight we saw the new movie, "Midnight in Paris," which was enchanting, or shall I say, enchante.... DD and friend did not understand it all, but it was a beautiful movie aesthetically. Owen Wilson plays a writer who pines for the Paris of the 1920's, and he gets his wish. That's all I'll say, but the movie is right up my alley since I, too, pine for a different day, when life seemed less stressful. I just didn't want the movie to end; it felt like when you're having a really good dream and you start waking up and you think, "Nooooooooooooo!" I want to stay in the dream... forever....
(Sigh) Why is life so hard?
