Ok, I know, Marie Antoinette said that, but it reminds me of how out of touch royalty really is. Why can't Queen Elizabeth retire and let her son be king. Oh, that's right. He's an embarressment... So is she waiting for William to marry Kate? I mean, he's not getting any younger either. She hated Diana. She hated Fergie. I am sure she probably hates Camilla, although it might be her fault that he didn't marry Camilla in the beginning, and wouldn't have put Diana through all that stress. (Dodi Fayed's father is convinced she was behind the terrible car crash, but then conspiracy theories abound on all these kinds of stories.)
This woman is steel, maybe even a robot. And so calculating to be in her 80's... Why not sit back in her castle and live the Golden Years instead of all the Pomp and Circumstance? And this hat today?! ugh... We want someone pretty again. Someone like Diana where we love to watch all of her wardrobe changes. Queen Elizabeth is the epitome of daughty. She's had those ugly purses and hats for 60 years!
It's time to pass down the crown!
