Quick post to say that here in Texas the big topic is the abortion legislation. Basically, we have great leaders like Governor Rick Perry and Greg Abbott, who are against abortion, and are trying to pass abortion clinic legislation that would stop abortions after 5 months. But the evil opponents keep saying, "But it's MY body" and "I'll do whatever I want with MY body" and "I don't want rich, white males telling me what to do with MY body."

So...

Here's the deal... In the United States you are FREE to do whatever you want until it infringes on someone else's freedom. You aren't free to steal someone's stuff, because that infringes on their right to their stuff. You get the idea. So, these women are free to do whatever they want with their body UNTIL they have another human being inside of them, who has different DNA. Then you cannot infringe on the right of that baby (their own child I might add) to live. They have a right to live and you can't infringe on that right because it's inconvenient for you. You see murder is against the law in this country. We base our laws on the Ten Commandments in the Judeo-Christian Bible, and "thou shall not murder," is one of them. And really, these days, no one is even denying it's murder. And at 5 months? The baby can even live on it's own. 

So there you go...
