"You can't be too rich, too thin or too blonde."

I read about this girl a few weeks ago that did her thesis on eating disorders, and made a life-size model of Barbie, so she could illustrate what her measurements would look like. I mean, to a lot of American girls, Barbie is the benchmark of what an all-American girl wants to be; not only in looks, but with the proverbial Ken on her side, any dream job she wants, and all of the toys. It's the quintessential perfect American life. It's what we think men want; the tall, thin, big breasted girl with long blonde hair. Think Pamela Anderson or Blake Lively. It's also what "The Hill's" Heidi Montag was attempting to transform herself into after her 10 plastic surgeries in one day last year. The human Barbie doll... Men just seem to find blondes sexier. I mean they will marry something else, but they seem to think that blondes are the ultimate. Now that I'm older, I'm okay with this. It must be difficult to be a sex symbol on an ongoing basis.

So. Much. Effort...
