With all of the depressing news lately, here is the feel-good story of the day... This lady, Eva, from Brooklyn, New York who had suffered lots of miscarriages and failed fertility treatments, had finally given up on getting pregnant. THEN she got breast cancer and had a double masectomy last year. THEN she miraculously got pregnant, and recently had a wonderful baby boy, Oliver. She posted that she wanted her baby to be able to have breast milk, and 25 lactating women in Brooklyn responded. Eva is overwhelmed by the kindness of these women, as it is hard to pump milk, but is thankful for their labor of love.
I needed some hope today...
