She and I were talking today about how most of the guys in her school look at porn all the time. They all have smart phones and have access 24/7 with no one knowing. And evidently some of the girls are looking too...
I had heard the high school in the town I work in has the same problem. Pot and porn are the "name of the game" with the boys, and of course the girls are all so aggressive these days that the boys just sit back and wait.
A third of our varsity cheerleaders have hookup sex with a group of varsity football players, and I know all of them. They have great parents who are really trying, and don't know about all of this. These girls don't invite DD to the parties, thankfully, but they do share their experiences with her. None of them are "dating" (exclusive) or have a "thing" (interest.) No, they all just mess around and say it means nothing. I'm sure it comes as no surprise when I say these are all the most "popular" kids and are all good looking. And this should really not surprise anyone, since all these kids ever see or hear is sexual.
Sigh....
