"Zombieland..."

There is something going on with the weather... I'm not trying to get all heebygeeby but we are beyond serious here in Texas. People here are starting to commit suicide. There have been several in the town I work in - young men with young children...

With the economy and no rain for a year, it has gotten to people, and they have a listless look on their face. The stores were dead in the Texas hill country today. Ordinarily people are at the grocery store, pharmacy, and just doing business. Not today. It seemed deader than a holiday. People are beyond cranky, they're in a stupor. People are watching the antics in Washington and losing further hope because our leaders are all blithering idiots.

Life as we know it seems suspended in time...
