"IF my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways..."

THEN I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land."

How refreshing to see a governor of a large state pray for our nation. To recognize that all good gifts come from our Father in heaven. Yes, Texas' Governor Rick Perry isn't afraid to pray, nor is he afraid to call this huge gathering today for people all over this nation to humble themselves and ask God for His mercy and grace.

Note on the scripture above that God is calling HIS people to intercede, HIS people to turn from their wicked ways, HIS people to humble themselves, HIS people to pray, HIS people to seek His face, not the non-Christians. And if we do, He will hear, will forgive and will heal our land. And we definitely need that.
