"Take this job and..."

I want to give up but I can't... My new boss of 2 weeks called me in on Friday and said that she gets there at 5:30 am and leaves around 7:30 pm, has a 10 minute lunch, no breaks, and works weekends, and basically expects me to do the same.... She said "gone are the days" of down time and every moment needs to be filled at all times. She is OCD and even admits she needs an intervention. It's an 8 page step to order an ad in, and if there's a copy change, an 8 step kill process, and a reorder 8 step process. I've never seen anything so screwed up, and I've been a lot of places. When I interviewed I told her I'm a single mom, and that flexibility is crucial to me, and that I get the job done and surpass expectations... but not hers. Her entire sales staff has no children under 18 (or even 21) and she has no children. I've been is display/outside sales most of my career, and do the best that way. She says there is no time to make visits, and wants it all by email (or phone calls as last resort.) She said she has never met many of her accounts and it's a small town!! When I interviewed she said,"Do what you want" but is singing a much different tune two weeks later. It's a daily paper of a small town of 20,000, and in this company of around 20 employees, everyone is eerily silent and awkward. No one talks. And when the ad staff makes a sales call, they rush back.... I've never seen this before. And clearly I'm not a fit at all.
Which depresses me completely... Where are the good jobs?? Where they treat you humanely?? My boss actually said she wanted me to be a "machine." I wish she would have been completely honest in the interview and I would not have accepted the job...
